I’m awake. I feel defeated. I am exhausted. I feel like a bad person. Once again I’ve let my emotions get the best of me & I think I drove someone away. I should be used to it by now but I’m not. Everything hurts. I wish I knew how to control myself. I wish I knew when to shut my mouth.

They start the broadcast off by doing a recap of all the Des Moines’ homicides of 2010. While talking about one that happened very recently, they show an interview with someone who had been with the victim and the killer prior to the murder. During her interview she says “He gave her the look like he was gonna hit her later.” That just struck me as hilarious. I’m still laughing...
